A crypto whale wallet 0x4a9, amassed a fortune of $2.15 million from Worldcoin (WLD) within just two days as the price of the token has surged by nearly 25% on Friday.
This swift gain underscores the cryptocurrency market’s potential for rapid wealth accumulation.
Worldcoin Whales Gain The Attention With Big Wins
This feat was meticulously tracked by Spot On Chain. Initially, the firm spotted the withdrawal of 2.09 million WLD, worth $5.82 million, from Binance. The tokens were priced at $2.78 each at that time.
Subsequently, these tokens found their way to wallet 0x4a9. As Worldcoin’s price soared by 25% today, the value of the holdings in this wallet escalated to an impressive $8.03 million.
“Notably, this is the whale’s first large WLD accumulation. Currently, the whale holds a total of 2.091 million WLD (worth $6.01 million). The WLD price started to surge back after having been on the decline for 1.5 months,” Spot On Chain said.
The narrative of 0x4a9 further reveals a calculated withdrawal of 468,279 WLD from Binance at $1.66 each, totaling roughly $779,000, on October 7, 2023. By redepositing all tokens to the exchange at an average price of $3 each, or $1.41 million, a profit of $626,000 was realized, translating to an 80.3% increase. Nevertheless, this strategy may have led to a missed opportunity of an additional 25% gain.
Moreover, another adept trader, 0x8d7, showcased his skills. He deposited 318,279 WLD back to Binance at $3.4 each, valued at about $1.08 million. He did not stop at WLD as he also profited from Big Time (BIGTIME) and Uniswap (UNI), earning a combined $542,000. This included a 105% gain from BIGTIME and a 6.13% increase from UNI, demonstrating a well-rounded investment strategy.
Currently, Worldcoin is on the cusp of a significant breakthrough. After a 77% surge in the past five days, it tests the weekly resistance at $4.35. If WLD can maintain a close above this level, it might aim for an all-time high of $5.29.

Amid these market fluctuations, Worldcoin’s co-founder, Sam Altman, made headlines. On February 15, he introduced Sora, a novel text-to-video model. Sora is capable of creating videos up to 60 seconds long.
“We’re teaching AI to understand and simulate the physical world in motion, with the goal of training models that help people solve problems that require real-world interaction,” OpenAI explained.
