Ernesto officially made landfall this morning as a Category 1 hurricane on the island of Bermuda bringing heavy winds and rain. It’s a large, slow-moving storm with 6 to 9 inches of rain possible which could lead to localized flash flooding. And while Ernesto won’t hit the U.S. directly, some East Coast beaches are closed because of the dangerous rip currents caused by the storm. NBC News’ Guad Venegas reports.
